Job Description

You can choose to work in our office or permanently from home (WFH) anywhere in the Philippines.

 

Ehrlich IT Services, Inc. is looking for a Senior React Developer (ReactJS / Next.js) with a strong React and Next.js experience to start ASAP. 

 

This role will require you to deliver functionality, 3rd party integrations and tooling that enable ecommerce merchants to better serve their customers. You’ll work with cross functional teams to deliver ecommerce functionality and integrations with a focus on scalability, ease of use and load time performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver solutions to the most pressing technology based problems facing ecommerce merchants today
  • Own building advanced functionality and 3rd party ecommerce integrations end to end 
  • Improve content and app management for merchants
  • Take a customer centric approach to development
  • Deliver a world-class merchant experience at all touch points with the product


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of software development experience
  • You can demonstrate a strong track record of developing solutions that solve customer problems
  • Expertise in React (with functional components + hooks)
  • Expertise in Next.js and Node.js
  • Node.js serverless functions
  • Strong knowledge of modern CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid)
  • You excel at communicating clearly, efficiently and empathetically with your colleagues in both verbal and written form
  • You thrive working independently in ambiguous, dynamic environments, using your problem-solving skills and creativity to consistently deliver results 
  • You can put yourself in the customers’ shoes, and are their advocate when it comes to making decisions


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You have a strong grasp of browser fundamentals (eg. how the browser parses and constructs a web page)
  • You have expertise in performance monitoring and optimizations (Lighthouse, WebPageTest)
  • You have experience developing accessible interfaces
  • You have a strong understanding of the ecommerce landscape and the functionality and apps that leading merchants are using today in order to enhance their ecommerce stores
  • You have a track record of delivering features that influence millions of customers and/or Merchants
  • You have experience working remotely with international teams
