Job Description

You can choose to work in our office or permanently from home (WFH) anywhere in the Philippines.


Ehrlich IT Services, Inc. is looking for a software engineer with strong Angular and .Net Core C# experience to start ASAP. AWS, database and Python skills are also highly regarded.


The Senior Developer is responsible for solution design, software development and system support.  This includes front-end and/or back-end development, system integration and unit testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Coordinate software development tasks with the Solution Architect and Head of Development;
  • Quickly produce well-organized, optimized and documented front-end and/or back-end code;
  • Collaborate within our client’s IT Department and business stakeholders to design and implement franchisor, franchisee and sub-contractor management software;
  • Contribute to technical design and reduce Technical Debt and refactoring costs;
  • Create and document all software systems, modules and products;
  • Debug and test existing source code; review and refine the design of features;
  • Undertake activity to commercially “harden” product and features;
  • Work independently, as required and provide accurate estimations and progress reports;
  • Attention to detail is essential and all tasks must be carried out to the highest standard.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Postgraduate qualification in a computer science or a technology-related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of software development experience, implementing complex systems comprising application infrastructure, 3rd party software and associated technology components.
  • An understanding of technical architecture, solution design and software development is essential.  Experience in web-based technologies preferred.
  • Software development and programming proficiency in Angular, .Net Core framework, C#.  Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Vue, etc) and Python highly regarded.  Experience in Postgres RDBMS, NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB), and AWS deployment and CI/CD technologies also highly regarded.
  • Infrastructure expertise in either AWS, GCP or Azure, with a preference for AWS
  • Ability to integrate third-party components into a cohesive, robust solution
  • Expertise in web-based frameworks, design principles and associated methodologies
  • Proficiency in performance tuning and optimisation techniques
  • Experience in technical analysis, solution design and technology delivery across a range of industry verticals
  • Previous experience in the implementation of technology platforms, including infrastructure, hardware, software, databases and third-part software components
  • Proven ability to share information with others in a highly effective and influential manner
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and fostering a culture where high performance, quality and service are valued
  • Demonstrated creativity in the development of innovative solutions for complex business problems
  • Successfully delivered large initiatives by coordinating technical teams
 
ACTIVITIES
 
  • Solution Design
  • Design and develop end-to-end solutions and providing technical recommendations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, solution architects, solution designers, and enterprise architects to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects
  • Work with Developers in the IT Department to successfully deliver project artifacts and outcomes
  • Provide effective risk management and identifying issues related to solution design
  • Collaborate with our client’s stakeholders to establish strong working relationships – to present business, technology requirements, and proposed solutions
  • Solution Development
  • Develop and implement software components.  Integrate software components into new and existing FSE and FSO systems and platforms
  • Coordinate software development tasks within the client’s IT Department
  • Quickly produce well-organized, optimized and documented systems and platforms
  • Collaborate within the IT Department teams to design and implement class-leading platforms, systems and solutions
  • Contribute to technical design and reduce technical debt and refactoring costs
  • Create and document all components within the relevant franchise management solutions
  • Debug and test existing source code; review and refine the design of features
  • Undertake activity to commercially “harden” platforms and features
