Job Description

YYou can choose to work in our office or permanently from home (WFH) anywhere in the Philippines.

Ehrlich IT Services, Inc. is looking for a React Developer ideally with strong knowledge of web frontend development in general to start ASAP. Mobile app development experience with React Native is a big plus.

 

You will be responsible for developing and improving the user interface of web and mobile applications. We are keen to find someone who is highly focused on quality and detail, proactively owning the quality of front-end development. You will work closely with the design and product teams to create high-quality, interactive, and user-friendly applications that match our client’s brand and vision.

 

ABOUT THE TEAM:

You will be joining a team which works with a client to create applications helping runners hit their goals and remain injury-free using state-of-the-art software solutions. The mission is to improve the overall health of our users through intuitive, user-friendly, and innovative technology.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement highly responsive user-interface components using React concepts.
  • Translate company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications
  • Maintain and improve our web and mobile applications.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout the design.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability and meet product stakeholder requirements.
  • Create quality mockups and prototypes as required.
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies.
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
  • Must have at least 3 years experience as a software developer with strong ReactJS experience / Front-End Developer.
  •  Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS/SCSS 
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including ReactJS.
  • Mobile application development with React Native is a big plus
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
  • Backend experience with RESTful API / Node.js is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Basic knowledge of image authoring tools (e.g., Photoshop), to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
  •  Familiarity with tools such Adobe XD, Figma.
  •  Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  •  Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  •  Good problem-solving skills.
  •  Excellent verbal communication skills.
  •  Value health, fitness, and understanding the needs of runners is a plus.
  • Self assertive in terms of technical challenges and strive for continuous development.
  • Capable of working independently with little supervision, but also very much a team player with strong communication skills
