RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and develop appropriate test plans and strategies.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, both manual and automated, for a variety of software applications and platforms, including web, mobile, and desktop.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Analyze test results and prepare comprehensive test reports, providing insights and recommendations for improving software quality and performance.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes, best practices, and tools, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Support the continuous improvement of software development processes by identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate actions.
• Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in software quality assurance, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques, including functional, performance, and regression testing.
• Familiarity with various testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Cucumber.
• Experience with bug tracking and project management tools, such as JIRA, Trello, or Bugzilla.
• Basic understanding of programming languages and development tools, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mobile application testing on iOS and Android platforms.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and practices, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with API testing tools, such as Postman or SoapUI.
